CLIO Basic Training

I (almost) finished my basic training for my CLIO website. I’m feeling pretty good about it and Thuy’s been really helpful with helping out in the details.

PSD Flashcards Basic Training

IĀ just started this basic training. My theme for these flashcards is travel (on an airplane) and I’ve chosen the following pictures for them:

This week, I did ID edits and continued the studio graphic training, as well as helped edit STA poster photos. šŸ™‚

Here’s a (very) rough draft of where I want to go with the studio graphic canvas banner! I’ll overlay an envelope distortion like this over the photograph I’m using, I’m excited to see the end product.

I’m also excited to start the E316M captioning project, as I’ve been training to start next week šŸ™‚

Making progress on Texas Politics Project template

Today, after applying some minor edits from Maddy, I started on the style guide. I just made a copy of the doc and added comments to it with guidelines like font, font size, and font weight. I also added guidelines for photo placement, just because Google Docs can be a little messy with a document with a lot of images and text.

Today I began studio course graphic training and did some IDs, as well as met with the Assistant Director of British Studies’ site to discuss proposed changes to their site.

Here’s an example of the IDs and the draft for the studio graphic training:

The ID was good quality so it didn’t require much editing, the only change I made was add some noise to her face as the filter she seemed to be using looks a little heavy-handed.

Update: CLIO Training

CLIO, part the second

Today, I got started on part ii of the CLIO training. So far, I’ve only updated the background color of the module and edited the CSS for my color scheme to make it easier on myself. Here are some somewhat boring screenshots of my code:
