Completion of 2 projects

July 21, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

Today I completed the Cascade Site Training as well as the Powerpoint template! I liked the videos people put in the video section of Suloni’s page, it’s funny.

Course Graphics !!

July 21, 2020 By Poonum Mehta

Course graphics for Shabbir’s O Chem I! This was a fun process, had a couple issues matching the greens on the different templates, I think because I was using the hex code instead of cmyk but I was able to match everything after some trial and error.

Cascade Site and Powerpoint Template

July 20, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

Today I worked a bit more on the Cascade site. I was able to fix the video error I had problems with last week and completed some more tasks. I should be finished with that training tomorrow.

The rest of my shift was spent working on the Powerpoint template. Definitely struggled a bit, just because I’m more of a visual learner so I misunderstood some things. For example, I thought “add a dark red bar at the top for content slide large enough to fit more title text” meant adding another Title box instead of just moving it (as seen in the 3rd image). At least now I know!

University Writing Center

July 20, 2020 By Mounika Tadanki

This project initially started as a task to create a generic style guide for the clients to refer to while creating content for the UWC WordPress Site. I added a few guidelines under the Publishing Help section in WordPress.

After creating the style guide, I started working on updating the layout for a few pages in the UWC site.

Basic Training: Green Screen Editing

Basic Training: Green Screen Editing

Yesterday (or should I say Friday), I did the green screen training. It was super simple. I learned a new way to cut out an object, so that’s definitely something!
