We are going back and adding padding to all the photos we annotated so they don’t sit less than 200 px from the edges of the photos. Here are some before and after edits of a few images I edited. As you can see some had to be given smaller text and pushed further into the center. We are making all of our text left or right justified.
Suloni had given me feedback on my photo ID that I edited pointing out that it had too much brightness on the photo that made the image lose the quality of detail. I went back and made more natural-looking edits with not a heavy light. Below are the three images to compare what it looked like originally, with my first edit, and with my second:
I’ve made more progress on the Tamil site, with the main work being put in to actually make it look nice. Lots of arbitrary pixel adjustments, but in the end it works well. I’ve now moved onto making the navigation bar collapsible, so that it doesn’t take up so much screen real estate. I tried a fairly specific implementation, but Stacy has showed me a much more elegant and reusable solution that I’m going to be implementing instead.

Below is the progression of my character I have been working on for this animation. Maddy said the green skin looked like a witch and then the orange was too saturated compared to the other characters and needed to be lighter. Then I added hair texture to match with the other people in the animation. Waiting to get approval on this then I will clean up the layers and get them all uploaded.
Here are some updates for the COM 301E illustrations. Maddy likes these colors for the skin so she had me finalized them. I’m really happy with how they turned out as well.
Maddy also likes the globe with the land / ocean outlines so I fixed them up according to her suggestions and here’s how it turned out.
A few weeks ago I edited and uploaded a photo ID. There was the lighting that needed to be adjusted from the original image as it was too dark. The client has been emailed about the update today.
