I cannot draw. When I have to, I’m basically flying by the seat of my pants. So of course, I was intimidated to do this “basic” training and draw not one, but about 10 frames of a short animation, especially because I don’t have a mouse, let alone a drawing tablet. But it wasn’t that bad! 8-bit art gives a lot of leeway for a lack of artistic talent.

I also got an assignment for studio lecture backgrounds today. It was super cool to go through all the UT photos — I really miss campus. Here are some of my mockups:
Today, I worked on training for Canvas buttons. They were a lot quicker than I thought they would be! I used the secondary UT color palette.
Lately I’ve been working on COLA photo ID training, and I’m pretty satisfied with the results! I also began drafts for the studio backgrounds, but I don’t think I’m ready to show them yet :~)
Studio digital monitor backdrops
I started working on the Studio digital monitor backdrops for online lectures. I started editing and messing with saturation, and color overlays for my first couple of pictures, so this is just a start:
