InDesign Training Part 2

I learned more InDesign tools and concepts by making a flyer for “Conversations on Race and Gender,” based on a lecture series from the African and African Diaspora Studies Department. I got really good feedback from Megan and Poonum as my design changed in every iteration. Here are some versions:

I edited some photo ID’s for the COLA Website:

Infographics Basic Training

I created an Infographic including information from a National Geographic article titled, “Apples of Eden: Saving the Wild Ancestor of Modern Apples.” The article mentions the ancient woodlands of Kyrgystan and its surrounding regions and the genetic diversity of wild apples. I came up with different graphics to represent the information mentioned, here are some design iterations:
