Y’all, I gave Google docs a bad rap. It’s not half bad to use for layout design! This week, I’ve reformatted the table of contents, applied some edits to the title page, and made sure the doc is actually useable as a template! I expect to get started on the style guide for this by late next week. Here are some screenshots of my updates:

I’ve been working on some experimentation of embedding some polling tools into CLIO. This is a request made by Dr. Hunt for the Diversity and Inclusion course. I’ve figured out that CLIO’s instant grading feature allows the students to see the results immediately, however it doesn’t allow them to see the statistics of other students’ answers as requested. So I’ve looked into embedding a Google Form into CLIO and it sort of works. The main drawback is that the student needs to go to the Google Form site (through a button click) to view the statistics and also correct answer.
Maddy gave me some information on Qualtrics so I’ll be trying that option out next week to see how it goes as well.
I’ve been resuming on TBH this week. The client wanted to make the images on the individual image pages enlarged, with a max-width of 2000 px. Stacy had an idea of leaving the image max 760 px instead, but adding a plus / minus icon to a corner of the image and then when clicked on the image, the image enlarge to it’s full width.
I had some trouble with centering the image when enlarged but Jake helped me figured it out. There are still some small issues with smaller images such as this one right here, but I’m consulting with Stacy and will most likely make more changes next week to fix it.
This studio course graphics training was a BOAT LOAD. I’m not entirely sure if I’m actually finished yet but I’ve created all of the assets. I ended up changing up my initial design a bit to include some black squares/lines, so I had to go back and adjust everything a tiny bit. Really happy with the results! I’ve just attached a couple of the assets here to give you all an idea of how the initial design was adjusted for the different formats. Really happy I got to keep my fonts consistent, but still trying to figure out how to embed the main font into powerpoint.

Just completed another set of Photo IDs. I was able to successfully complete 4 out of 5 images.
