New banner for Jasper Smits’s site.
Project: Design mockups for Jasper Smits’s new website.
Completion: In progress
This project is a part of the design for Dr. Smits’s new WordPress site. The banner should be reflecting of his research, which I find vastly interesting. After my brief introduction to his research on the effect of exercise on anxiety, depression, and panic, I did some research on his studies, and find that his research very thoughtful. With the knowledge that I have gained from reading about his research, I wanted to create a banner according to his description of wanting to show how movement and speed, something that represents activeness helps with relieving stress or anxiety.
My first mockup is finished. I thought to take the form of a brain that looks somewhat dark, and have a figure in running pose leading towards the light, with some strokes that indicate motion.
I am still working on the second one, but currently my ideas center around this idea of a brain that is under stress, and a figure or some kind being active on a path.
