I updated the Germanic Studies page to have an Instagram linked in their social media section on the left sidebar. Eventually, they will have a Twitter linked here as well. It was a quick and easy update. The client was happy with the changes made.
I don’t have a lot to add for this week, I’ve just been working on updates to the Knowledge Base website (see previous blog post) plus a new project to annotate images for the Remote Studio System (RSS) site. The images are instructional and provide information about lighting, audio, video equipment and training. Right now all the images have captions, and our job is to transfer the caption text to the image as annotations.

Here are some updates on the animation we have been working on for communications. The first image is of the suggested edits by Maddy and so I adjusted the person I am making to be more in line with these two. Approval and the draft are still pending. Maddy also wanted the laptop I made to be more irregular in shape so I adjusted the laptop like so as pictured and waiting on her feedback.

Description / plans: annotate images for Jacob’s instructions on planning remote online classes during Summer 2020.
Following Mounika’s instructions, I’ve been annotating these images, giving them captions and editing them so that the captions are readible. There are a lot of them, so I’m just going to include a few examples.
I’ve been helping Mounika with annotating Remote Studio System instructional photos for professors who are going to be recording their online summer classes from home. I completed all my sections earlier this week and then got assigned more to do to move this project along. All the .PSD and .PNG files are uploaded into the BOX already. Below is a screenshot of the excel sheet with all the completed photos I annotated. Under that are a few snippets of the Basecamp comments to get my annotations approved.
I created an infographic for Liberal Arts Career Services based on Bridget’s template design. As a team we’d already made 3 of the necessary icons, but I designed icons to represent public orgs + corporations. It’s a challenge to create a simple design that represents such a broad descriptor but I think they came out nicely!
