Today, I worked in the interaction between the different entities, for example a Philosopher has different bibliographies, as well, bibliographies belong to different philosophers. Contributors write the philosopher’s essays.

STAs: Student Technology Assistants
Who We Are
LAITS: IT and Facilities Director, Joe TenBarge initiated the Student Technology Assistant program in 2004. STAs are UT students who work on a variety of projects in collaboration with UT faculty and LAITS staff members. STAs assist College of Liberal Arts faculty members and administrative staff with print and web design. From building presentations, to creating audio/visual works, and producing online classes in the LAITS film studios, STAs are instrumental in helping COLA faculty realize their vision for multimedia projects that enhance their teaching and the students learning experience. By the end of their student careers, STAs have portfolios which demonstrate their accrued technical and design skills.
Prospective STAs:
Creative and technically inclined students are appointed as STAs for one year, with the possibility of being rehired as long as they study at the university. Applicants for the program are hired before both long semesters. Interested students may look for postings on Hire-A-Longhorn when positions are available. Positions will have Student Technology Assistant (illustrator or web designer) in the title of the job post.

Theatre of Philosophy Iteration
Today I worked on modifying the prototype according to the requirements of the client: first about tab, index became Topical Index. On the bibliographies subsite it will display the type of source, and also It will be add a new filter according to the source type.

I also worked on the development of the site, where I mapped the taxonomies (movements, periods, topics, etc) to both the Philosophers and Bibliographies site.

Today I also worked on displaying the information of the Bibliographies into the site format.

New Project!!!
Stacy has assigned me a new project! He asked me to his office and told me about a few projects and what skills I am interested in developing. After some conversation, we agreed to put me on Learning Persian!
Learning Persian is a website that includes textbooks and supplementary material for the Persian class at UT. There are two parts of the new website that we are developing: 1) The WordPress side and 2) the PHP side. The WordPress site contains modules and other things (that Nick had worked on previously).
I am working on the PHP side (that isnt being built using WordPress). So far I’ve done a lot of CSS and HTML to make the site look like Jac & Kathy’s design.
Zika virus project
I was tasked to make a banner for CODE Zika Brasil’s website. Here’s some progress images.

They’re a little plain, but I consulted Suloni about these images. She gave me lots of advice and helped steer me in the right direction. She suggested that I show an intersection of these images, select colors from the COLA web pages, fully render the pregnant woman, and use a san-serif font.
V-lab interactives
I finished a v-lab interactive and am currently working on my second one. It took quite a bit of time, but it looks pretty neat now. There were a lot of layers involved and I wasn’t really anticipating that.

psych CE update
I’ve been working on the Psyche CE diagrams for a course powerpoint a lot lately and finished them up! Here are the diagrams I helped make:
