For this project, I was tasked with taking the photo negatives and scanning them to the computer. Depending on the quality of the scan, I touched them up in photoshop to ensure the same quality.

Initial Scan:

After the scan, it was quite apparent that two of the images where a lot darker and had an underline red tone. Therefore, I had to go in photoshop to make edits.

Week 5

(10/5): AUDIO STA CREST

I revised the crest design after having a 1v1 meeting with De’sha and Leilani. The crest needed to be simplified and more icon-like. It also needed more specific references to audio (mic, headphones, soundboard, sound waves).

 

(9/4): SPRING ’23 ONLINE COURSE HEADER

I firstly sourced a few copy-right free images for possible banner options. Then, with instructions from Suloni, I drafted the four images into headers. I updated the year and added a gradient/blur (with PS help from Adrian). It was overall a fairly simple task, just a little time-consuming to source good copyright-free images and format each of them to the correct dimensions.

 

 

STA Poster Documentation

As we have been creating the STA posters, I have been keeping a growing document of all the crest designs and poster designs. This document is used to ensure that all the poster care consistent in design but still have individual personality that represents their STA group.

 

STA Poster Edits

Edits that I had to complete:

• Insert the STA photos
• Alphabetize each STA in their groups
• Adjust the STA group names at the top of the banner
• Remove/edit the glare off of glasses
• Align the text at the bottom of the poster
• Add in the Avatar for Trishta.
• Adjust some photo scale positioning.

This week I assisted in some edits on a PPT slide deck for the UTFC project. I just had to locate replacement images for certain slides:

For this part of the project, I was instructed to create the logo for the course that will later be animated.

• Simplify the design a little more on a smaller scale but keep the overall aesthetic of the maze.

 

Next Tasks:

• Create a document/presentation that contains the overall layout design of these the logos. This will include templates, color scheme, line width, etc. All information to ensure that all the designs are consistent for future projects.
