here’s a few IDs I did in this short work week :^)
This week, I did a few different things. I worked on the Classroom Database Restyling Guide which provided some basic html instyling bits that could be used as a template for styling and restyling pages on the database. The main challenge was creating as straightforward code snippets as possible that would also work well with the constrains of the database’s WYSIWYG editor. I also worked on several photo IDs.
This week I did a few different things. As the semester draws to a close and we’re moving into the winter break, I’ve been shifting gears. I’ve been working on powerpoint redesign for Olwell’s HIS315K. I also did a small graphics redesign request for ADV 332C and a few photo IDs.
This week I did a few different things. I worked on IDs and the InDesign and began the Color Wheel training. I also met with Bridget for Cascade onboarding. I’m excited to get more familiar with Cascade and be able to work with it more.
For the color wheel training, I wasn’t really vibing with the idea of a usual wheel, so I decided to do more of a text arrangement with a kind of LED/fluorescent effect. Basically like a lot of the early LED work the artist Jenny Holzer did if she didn’t have any funding lol… I also used a portion from a popular poem called “Jessica gives me a chill pill”.
Not much to talk about this week as this is the only day I’m working this Thanksgiving week :^(
However, I had my eval meeting today, and here’s what I have so far for the InDesign training!
This week, after a week-long break, I finished my HTML/CSS training — you can see the finished product here. I also completed some options for the ISPRII logo, and did some photo IDs, examples of which can be found tomorrow.
