Pixel Art Training
I also was able to complete the pixel art training. Here are the results. Overall, this training was really fun. I learned how to use only a few colors to represent an object and find ways to still include depth in the image.
Last week, I worked on the editing the spring 2022 online course schedule site. I was just instructed to make it look identical to the fall 2021 online course schedule.
I used some HTML and basic copy and paste to get the site where it needed to be. The only problem was trying to get the banner uploaded with only 200 KBs. I had to convert the banner to a jpeg instead of a png to get it to upload correctly.

This is the new site with the alt text I am trying to fix
so any images that don’t have the alt text column filled in I have to search for on the old site and copy the text over
It is taking me a long time because there are 100 pages of images on the old site to look through
I haven’t had a ton of shifts since I last posted, but I’ve mostly been working on the flyer design advertising the Visiting Scholars Program at the Linguistics Research Center and the photo ID KB.
The LRC provided the copy (words) for the flyer, and well, it’s a lot. Our current proposal is to make a packet, seeing as each page is the regular 8.5 x 11 inch paper (mostly digital).
The photo ID KB revisions are almost done! This last week, I added:

Last week I finished up the Branding/Iconography training in Adobe Illustrator. I have also been reworking the “research tools” graphic for PSY-Muna; however, progress has been on hold as we are seeking new copy-right images for the client. This week I will be developing KB Web Dev Training banners!

Per Maddy’s request, I also started drafting a design for the Summer 2022 postcard. The low-fi Hookem/Bevo returns to advertise summer classes! How many times will I return to this illustration that I made almost a year ago? We shall see.
