As the semester begins, my task of producing Latin illustrations ahead of the schedule for the course continues. Here are some examples of new illustrations I’ve done lately.
LAITS Student Technology Assistants collaborate with the College of Liberal Arts faculty and administration by re-imagining their instructional and promotional projects with a creative use of video, audio, web and graphic design. STAs learn technical skills on the job with LAITS development studio staff. They build presentations, produce audio/visual works, scan text documents & perform image correction. STAs are instrumental in helping COLA faculty realize their vision for instructional technology projects used to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
TBH Population Puzzler Redesign
Earlier in the summer I began the process of redesigning several important kids interactives on the Texas Beyond History site. The first of these was the Population Puzzlers interactive. Today I spent some time making minor adjustments to some visual assets, as well as going through and making the relevant buttons and graphics for each possible question and answer choice.
I’ve started working on the Texas Beyond History project, which is a comprehensive website with thousands of pages and subpags all about Texas History. The new website needs to be updated and formatted, and my part includes adding banner images to 60+ pages….so I’ll have plenty to do for the time being!
I have also been training how to create pre-rolls and credit-rolls for online classes! While there aren’t any actual prerolls that need to be made just yet, I will probably be working on ones for Spring soon. (Note: This is not the professor’s real name, as I don’t know what her real name is. This is also not a real class, don’t try to sign up….)
