New Updates

February 4, 2019 By Valerie Tran

I recently worked on some stuff for RGT again. For this assignment, I made location placemarks for each stop on the tour. I used the same red that was used for the tour maps. Here’s what it looks like!

I also have started working on a sticker for the Russian course. It’s supposed to be given to students to commemorate their experience and time with learning about the Russian language and culture.

Russian Illustration

February 1, 2019 By Valerie Tran

I forgot to give an update on the Russian Illustration project! I finished before winter break! Here are some pictures of the progression.

Preliminary sketch
  • Laying things out
  • Figuring out the market stalls
  • Filling in the market stalls so I don’t confuse myself
  • Adding props
Adding color, people, and props to the scene.
The finished product!

I didn’t win the patch competition, but Chloe and I were the runner up designs. They were so nice and made our designs into stickers!

This is what the final design for my patch/sticker ended up looking like!!

Update on RGT before Break

January 30, 2019 By Valerie Tran

I received some feedback on the RGT project and they liked the version where the path was low opacity and the UT Tower was present and in color. I darkened the Prather building, per there request. This is what it looks like now!

Final (?) Version of RGT map
