I edited a photo for a professor here at UT in the Asian Studies department!
Top: Original image
Middle: Edited image per specifications
Bottom: Edited image per specifications with a more legible figure description
I got rid of the bleeding words from the page and increased the contrast. For the bottom image, I blocked out the original text in a new layer with white. In another layer I made a text box with the same figure description in an effort to make it more legible.
Today I finished my flashcards for basic training 🙂
I also got assigned to do a test sketch for the RUS412K animation to show where my skills are at. Here’s a picture of my progress so far!

I’m just continuing my basic training for this shift. I made some flash cards for one of the assignments 🙂

Also worked on some STA patch designs that I’ll put up next shift when I’ve scanned my drawing. I also finally found the time to get my key lol. That’s all I have for today!
I’ve pretty much finished all my COLA Photo ID assignments last shift, so I’m just doing some basic training right now by making psd flashcards and spending more time on Photoshop. I also have come up with a design for the STA Level 4 Patch!
Triangles are the best shapes to put into other shapes.
I’m gonna keep running with this idea/concept and keep on going!
I published my COLA Photo IDs from yesterday after they were approved! I sent out a couple of emails regarding the photo IDs and started working on the Psych CE logo and the STA Level 4 Patch design. I had to stop with the Psych CE logo because we weren’t doing it anymore, so I started brainstorming ideas for the patch.
