As my final assignment at LAITS, I helped Andre develop some mockups for the Project 2021 site. The original design was put together by Aidan. Here are those drafts:

Marla and Maria requested some new icons and banners be created for HIS 315K.

Suloni and Mike commissioned me to create a graphic for the intro video for HIS 315K. The idea is that it’s the professor talking in front of wood grain, with timelines running behind him.
Mike specified that the timeline should have no numbers and less dots. We also think it might be cool with color. I created two drafts, one white and one with the colors from the color palette I created for the course.
Here is my first draft:

In July, Andre and I organized a photo shoot for LAITS staff and graduate students from a couple different departments. I emailed all of the staff without photos and graduate student advisors. I created a sign-up sheet as well. On the day of, Brian Schwartz and Selene Alba helped Andre teach me how to set up a shoot with strobe lighting. Throughout the days, Andre helped me improve my skills regarding working with clients and making them feel comfortable. I ran the shoot, switching off with Paulina on who was taking the photos.
After the shoot was over, I learned how to breakdown. Then I was in charge of working with the photo metadata, renamed the photos and picked the new photo for each person. Then I cropped photos and added them to the COLA DB. Finally, I emailed grad students with their new photos, if they asked.
This was a great project to be on. I learned a lot and feel comfortable conducting my own shoots now.
Here are some of the photos from the shoot:

I am helping Marla and Ashley with designs for small aspects of the Quiz Bowl on the HIS 315K Canvas site.
Now that we’ve selected a new back & next button, here is a draft to spruce up a table within the quiz bowl.
Note that instead of “2015” being highlighted, the “your results” tab will be highlighted blue.
I have created drafts for the ‘back’ and ‘next’ buttons.
