Last week Suloni asked me to very quickly draw up some example images of chalk illustrations in the negative space behind Professor Michael Starbird in his Effective Thinking edX video clips. Here are a couple such images.
Kincaid Critters Redesign
For TBH I’ve been working on a redesign for the “Kincaid Critters” interactive. This is a kid’s section activity of the site which asks the student to match a textual description of each ancient animal to its corresponding image. I’ve been focusing on making it both more visually appealing and intuitive. (I still need to drop in Jun’s icon to let the viewer know immediately that this is interactive.)
Latin 506 Caesar
As I continue illustrating for Latin 506, I occasionally have to create a new character. Here’s a time lapse of me working through the creation of the one and only Caesar.
TBH Caddo Kids Interactive
For TBH, I have been continuing to work on redesigning the graphical elements of what used to be flash interactives. Last week, I finished creating all the visual assets for the Life of the Caddo Kids interactive page, which uses a colorful, circular UI navigational tool. Here are a few examples of what these elements look like.
