Request:Fix up mascot ‘ Dr.Dirt’ and create t-shirt mockups with requested elements. Requested elements included a Dr.Dirt with a pick up truck and the longhorn logo.

First set of mock ups:

1 version with orange and the other in black and white: Original Dr. Dirt creation was another STA. I Used a ‘Dr.Dirt’ that was modified by STA Juan. Just a mock up on deciding where elements will be placed while adding my own suggestions.

Attempt 2: After turning these mock ups, I was given new instructions and this time redid Dr.Dirt a bit to clean him up and change the position of his head so that we could have the longhorn on his hat and have it shown to everyone.

Request:Find free stock images of groups of people to use for sociology thumbnails on the sociology department website.

Process: Find images and get them approved by Mr. Hsu then create them into thumbnails

First Attempt: Three will have the word sociology on it while the other three are left alone. I offered more than three more ‘left alone’ thumbnails so that the professor may choose which ones he liked best.

For the global search page, each section has an icon and the category of the search result if the result belonged to a category. My job was to work on the icons. I wanted to redesign the icons in a way that is simple and flat. Of course these are web icons and there was no need to go detailed like computer desktop icons.
