Project: Dr. Pangle’s Webspace Updates
Completion status: In progress
Staff Guidance: Suloni, Andre
Description/plans: Dr. Thomas Pangle came in and asked to have his website updated with new books, updated CV, and other minor edits to his webspace. I fixed broken images, links, and text. I am in the process of creating a mock up for a wordpress site for Dr. Pangle (as webspace will soon be deleted).

Lewis Peacock Lab Banner Design Cont.

September 18, 2013 By Tuan Tang

Project: Lewis Peacock Lab Banner Design
Completion status: In Progress
Cooperation: Andre
Description/plans: Created a lab banner for Lewis Peacock’s WordPress site. Trying to add the “psychology” element into the “memory” part of the banner. Simplifying abstract concepts into imagery is a little challenging.

I tried to add symbols to each chip to give it more personality, as if each chip constitutes another set of skill and knowledge. However, it seemed to look busy, especially since the entire chip is not visible, thus I had to try to cram the symbols.STA WikiWikiWiki image

My next approach was more simple. If I could include maybe one or two decisive symbol to add around the Lab name, it would personify more of a psychology aspect than a computer science atmosphere.STA WikiWikiWiki image
