PSY 352 Canvas Designs
Here are some designs for the Canvas page.
And the buttons.
Here are two versions of the preroll design.
I realized how powerful Photoshop is in having Content Aware fill (which was what I used for filling in the background for the first version, since the original image was a vertical one). It took me perhaps an hour to try to figure out how to fill the background (I was attempting to crop the gray section out and then use the smudge tool, but that didn’t work).
I realized I never updated the blog with the finalized theme design. Here it is.
As a side note though, there was one draft that I also really like (the Professor ended up liking this one more). I’d like to post this one here as well because I thought this style is pretty cool and it’s not something that I’m familiar with. I learned how to make neon glow / effect thanks to this draft :).
I also learned how to use the basics of After Effects thanks to this project (since I wanted to try doing a mockup for it).
Here are some stinger designs for PSY 352. I used stock photos from Unsplash and incorporated my brush strokes from the art work to bring everything together. Suloni suggested using the brush strokes as textures and bring down the opacity of the images, and I thought the overall effect is really cool. Here are what I came up with.
