The client got back to me yesterday with some additional requests following our meeting. They decided to proceed with the Masonry Grid with Padding, and would like to see some iterations with a “hero image” / jumbotron and some fonts adjustments. Here are my second iteration drafts.

I’ve been doing some Cascade Help Requests on top of other projects including KB Updates and the Blanton site. One of them is adding text-wrapping images to this site.
I worked on revising the drafts I made last week (mostly the Masonry and the TextOverlap drafts) with Stacy’s and Maddy’s suggestions. Here are the final drafts that will be shown to the client tomorrow.

Yesterday I got on a call with Suloni and Stacy about a new (and super exciting) project to help redesign the Blanton Museum of Art Homepage. I personally think the current website looks pretty good, but the client wants to steer away from the carousel that’s currently on the site.
Here’s how the site looks right now.
The client is thinking of something along the line of a jumbotron or a grid. Here’re my first drafts after doing some research.

I recently processed a Cascade request in which the client would like to embed an excel spreadsheet onto their Cascade site. Tim provided some examples, and I wrote up the specific instructions. I drafted out a guide to be included in the COLA Help Guides. It’s published but not indexed, but once I get an okay then I’ll go ahead and include it in the sidebar.
Yesterday I took some photos to illustrate some points we made on the Self-Photography Guide. It was a little difficult to demonstrate the instruction to “face the source of light,” but I tried my best. Here’re how they turned out.
