I actually really enjoy color correcting photos, one, cause it’s easy, but two, cause it’s a nice break from coding and styling and designing. All that’s required is making sure photos look good.

Updating the CAAAS newsletter with some requested changes and making a BLACK AND WHITE VERSION! The real challenge was converting it all to Black and White, since the images would come out too dark when trying to print in black and white.
Project: edX Jazz

Another cool edX class on the subject of Jazz. Ideally it seemed more like a history of Jazz and probably it’s effect on history. The design aspect was pretty simple to conjur up, as they wanted something kinda musical, but not obvious or reminiscent of learning Jazz music. Below are some thumbs and the final logo, plus title cards for the edX site!
This summer I got to spend a weekend (really a day) in Marfa. To put it simply, it’s probably my favourite place in the universe, something about the desert, the art scene, the air out there is serene.
