Vlabs and First Animation Assignment

As per usual, I’ve been working on vlabs. I think I will be able to finally finish Lab 10 by the end of this week. Yay!

I also completed my first animation assignment. I was assigned to create an object symbol for a short animation of a soccer ball. Here she is! That’s all I have for now!

Final CWGS Poster and DigiSlide

Here is the final poster for the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies Poster!

Also, the client asked me to also make a digital poster to be displayed on the Digi Led Screens in the Union. It’s mainly just the same thing but arranges to better suit a screen.

Center for Women’s & Gender Studies Poster Design

I sent the client over the first draft and she said it looked great! She just wanted me to include their logo somewhere on the poster. I ended up with these two designs and I will send them over for the client to review tomorrow morning!

Center for Women’s & Gender Studies Event Poster Design

On Wednesday, I was tasked with coming up with a layout for a poster promoting an event for the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies. I was given two images, the guest’s book cover and photograph, and some text detailing the event. Suloni wanted me to create two drafts: one image based and one text based.

These were the three drafts I came up with. I like how the text based drafts turned out but I don’t think I am allowed to alter the image of the book cover as I did… I’m going to go ahead and send the first draft without the altered image to the client.
