Project: CTS Banner Design
completion status: in progress
staff guidance/team: Valerie, Matthew
description/plans: Client asked to take off the image and add two lines of text (Chinese titles of the center and university) For center title, client wanted an archaic Chinese calligraphy, which took a while to find.
Update: Client asked for small text adjustment. Valerie heard back from wordmark department, so I added the wordmark banner to Cascade.

description/plans: I went over the history of design to gain a better understanding of different movements and styles that influence designers today, then I made 2 design pieces following styles from my favorite movements: Bauhaus and New Typography.
This is a Bauhaus style poster, a 1919-1933 art movement, this style emphasizes geometric, functional design, and a handcrafted characteristics.
This is a flip text effect inspired by the New Typography movement (1920s-1930s), this movement brought forward the idea of non-traditional text arrangement and sort of break free from the need of symmetry. Typography <3

Project: STA Hiring Poster
completion status: in progress
staff guidance/team: De’Sha, Maddy
description/plans: Drafting for STA hiring flyer copy
I finished the formal version of my draft, and I decided to stick with one general QR code instead of individual QR code for each departments because maybe we can have students go through department selection first once they scanned the QR code, whichever department they select will link them to the proper application form. Less cluster on the page that way.
