These are the intro graphics for each presenter for the upcoming STA presentation! I got a chance to polish my (sort of rusty) background image removal skills in Photoshop to edit the fun photos the video team took. I then inserted them into the fun template and added the stickers for each team.Special thanks to Marissa for art direction and project management.

Lots and lots of spreadsheets! I’ve been working on UTFC image sourcing for the past week, mainly consisting of finding the original source images, ensuring that they are public-domain images, then cataloging them for future reference. Here’s one of the spreadsheets:

This is the final design for the LAITS-wide t-shirt! The brief was fairly simple: something death metal-looking. I took the rough sketches I had been given, then went into Illustrator to trace them. I manipulated the graphics to add details and to make it as readable as possible without losing the death metal look.

Here are some wireframes for the TXDST website, which will function as an archive and house stories about slavery in Texas, a topic that isn’t documented almost at all. It’s been fun to explore a different area of design outside of my typical graphic design, as well as getting the opportunity to work on such an interesting project.
