Here are few photo IDs I have been working on since starting classes this week. There was quite a few I had edited during the two weeks before classes started but hadn’t updated the blog about. For updating sake, I have been working on them almost every week. Most go of the editing that needs to be done for these is temperature correcting, exposure, and rotating pictures when the head of the person is too tilted to one side.
Thuy, Bridget, and I have been working on transferring these Portuguese practice videos to WordPress. We upload the videos, add captioning, and then include popup for vocabulary. It is a pretty repetitive process but we are able to go through them quickly. They might be done by the end of this week.
I have been working on updating the basic training for the Logo Design. Suloni had me addd more components to make it a more well rounded training in how to design and apply a logo to different formats that we commonly use in the office. Bridget is back with us again and helped me to add a new section in our table of contents for the KB. All of our basic trainings are going to be updated and moved to there. Content for the trainings will still be placed in folders on the server but all instructions are being transferred. Some had old images and instructions that were not up to date with the new updates of adobe. Here is a look at my finished instruction guide. I went through the training once more to add more personal example images.
Here are some of the IDs I edited. Many of them needed slight coloring adjustments and brightness altering. I used the select tool to highlight the faces that were darker than the background and brought them out more.
Here was the last canvasser for lab 12. The only thing that I needed to do was make this and anchor repeats from another lab.
Here are two images that I scanned today from a book. There were two raw unedited scans in color. Each image was also scanned in gray-scale 300 dpi exported as a .tiff and .pdf.
