I wrote this mammoth of instructions for setting up a new unit in a Cascade site. Hopefully, it is very thorough but easy to follow for future STAs who need to learn how to do this process.
I think this speaks for itself but this what my presentation looks like. I’m guessing the event will be sometime in May. Hopefully, I’ll be there to present if I don’t have a schedule conflict.
I helped our client Justice to format the Cascade site for the digital lecture series. I needed to resize the banner for her and edit the pull quote so the text shows up white and the blue matches the blue in the banner image. I also had adjusted the image size so it fits within the body text. Originally the banner spanned the top but the client has edited since then to have it display how it is in the screenshot below.
I worked on the banner for the homepage displaying the 2021 Summer Courses. We did different formats so that we could advertise it across different platforms of social media. I made ones for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email, and Cascade. The Instagram ones have two images because they will be swipeable with a sneak peek of classes that are offered from certain majors.
I made some edits to help with the redesign of the Summer Class Schedule. I figured out how to color the flag and cores as well as added a banner. There were also some visual hierarchy changes with the text of class titles and info.
I created a layout for Professor Gutterman’s American Studies Summer 2021 class. I did both a light and dark color palette but we ended up picking the lighter color one. I based it off of the 1950s nuclear family image they had on their welcome PowerPoint. Once it gets approved it will be given the STAs to edit all the powerpoints with.
