One of the challenges of redoing TBH was to redo the animations, especially the rain animations. The current way Canvasser worked meant that for each rain drop we would need a separate animation with a separate object, which meant ALOT of objects. Ruben and I (mostly Ruben) came up with the idea of using a particle system with raindrops as the individual particles. We think it looks more natural and is also a lot easier to implement.
