WEEK 1

This is the first week for STA and it’s started with the orientation! I meet with my buddy and luckily find out it’s my classmate Luisa :). She’s very nice and teaches me how Workday, Harvest, BaseCamp, Box, and STA Blog function in their own ways.

On the second day of the orientation, there are lots of individual works for me to explore. I start with re-design the STA Handbook in 5 slides. Here is my work:

I then realized that the color palette and typography I chose for this assignment fit my personality and aesthetic style. Therefore, I decided to keep these elements in my Blog Banner design. I use Illustrator to draw a portrait of me and place it on the right side of me (the color of the hair in the banner is actually my hair color now!). The font I used is called Tan Mon Cheri, an exclusive font from Canva (at least it’s not useable in Illustrator). It’s been my favorite font recently!
