Hey everyone. This past week has been my first week back since last semester and I’ve mostly been using it to do the “Create a Grav site from scratch using Gantry 5” training. It’s a pretty large training so it’s been taking some time but here is what my current progress looks like:

Hey everyone. This past week I’ve been working on COLA tasks and some few trainings. For COLA I’ve continued to email clients which is a first for me as well as evaluating site sizes and making notes of any interesting features or elements.

I have also completed the HTML training and have moved onto the git training and am working on that during downtime. Here’s a picture of my finished site.

Hey everyone. This past week I’ve been working on COLA tasks and a few trainings. For COLA I’ve been evaluating site sizes and documenting them down as well as emailing clients for points of contact.

Week 12

Hey everyone. This past week I’ve mostly been working on COLA tasks and a few trainings. For COLA I’ve been fixing links for pages and now finding points of contacts for departments to facilitate moving into Phase III.

I also submitted my HTML training and received feedback so I will take care of that when time allows and move on to other Web Dev trainings.

Week 11

Hey everyone. A quick update on the projects I’ve been working on. I’ve mostly just been fixing broken/internal links whenever they are found and linking it to the correct site. As of now I think the Dean’s Office pages are live!

Project: Blanton Website Migration
Client /Prof: Blanton Museum
Completion Status: Started August 23, 2021

STA team members: Asmita, Marianne, Angie, Abriella
description/plans: Work on migrating the current Blanton museum website pages to the WordPress site
To be completed: TBD (long-term)

Last week, along with Marianne and Asmita, I’ve been finding alt text for images in the Blanton website. This was a little cumbersome, as sometimes you had to manually look for 1 image within 1400 others so it definitely was a process.

Week 10

description/plans: Continue migrating data from the old CMS to the new CMS

This past week has been a lot of finalizing COLA pages and double checking as well as fixing. The site is set to go live soon so there hasn’t been too many new pages to migrate. It is exciting that they demoed the site to the COLA senior staff already and is in its final stages before it goes live.

For Blanton, I believe the exhibition pages are finished and I am working on finding alternate text for images for the site, which is another extensive task.
