UT Instapoll Icon Design

I was tasked with making an icon for the attendance function in UT Instapoll. As the icons are only 26px x 26px there wasn’t much room to make anything to intricate. It was challenging to try to make an icon that was understandable at such a small size but thats what is so impressive about iconography.

These were the two icons I created. The first is a simple icon of a person with a checkmark and the second is a raised hand. We went with the first one to be used which I ended up making a crisper version of. Below is what it will look like in use.
