Russian 412 PPT

Russian 412 PPT

As an update of the old Russian PPT banner, I changed the squirrels to rabbits and added mushrooms along the sides. To make the banner more interesting, cobblestone design was added with the addition of some grass along the lines. The textures and drop shadows were all kept the same as the old versions for consistency, and the basic shapes of rabbits and mushrooms are masked with the same textures as well.

Because the detailed cobblestone and mushroom design does not fit the other banners in the past, I had to do some redesigns. Instead of using the cobblestones to make the design more intricate, I used some organic swirls with plant motifs. The swirls consists of a thick, base one that runs throughout the banner to set the shape of the path for the rabbits to sit on, and a much more delicate one that sort of frames the banner and make it more balanced. To Tate’s suggestion, I also changed one of the bunnies to a standup, profile position. The updated bunny banner looks much more cohesive with the past squirrel and bird banners, and I am very happy with how it turned out at the end, but I do miss the chubby mushrooms ( ´・∀・`)
