Credit-roll draft, including many instruments all in color.

Two options for the credit-roll, one with blue instruments with 80% transparency and one with white instruments with 15%. The lower transparency has 4 instruments instead of 3, but they blend into the background so that the text is still distinct.

Almost final version of the credit roll. Unique # to Course #, Jazz logo in top right, COFA brand in bottom right, instruments color changed.

Final version of the credit roll, which the piano facing the right direction and instruments moved to accommodate the change in formatting.

After taking the image and positioning it, I saved for web and devices to only save the specific slices needed. I did this for all five images for all five sizes 4 times each: color, color + tint, black and white, and bw + tint. I turned visibility of the text on and off to see which level of darkness would work best.

Template was changed to six pictures. Shown here are Digital Instruction and About the Development Studio in BW + tint and color + tint, respectively.

These first two flyers are the same except for the flag markers in the margins. The information for flags isn’t available yet, so their presence is only to visualize layout/spacing. Because of the number of classes, the banner at the top had to be shortened.

First two quick mockups I made, based off the color style guide and palette from the edX video introduction.

Made the logo smaller and lengthened the text boxes to create a more cohesive layout.

Added the musicians in the background, increasing transparency to fade them into the background. Other objects also got a lowered opacity to show the musicians.

“Daytime” mockup with the almond color from the style guide faded out because of low opacity.

“Nighttime” version of the same mockup, this time with blue off the style guide.
