CLIO and Design Menus

September 18, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

This week I worked on Photo IDs, CLIO Site, and Style A & B Training. For the training, I used ART331K class: Painting I as my example.

The next images are of the last things I needed to do for the CLIO Site training. Added the carousel and then made some changes that Thuy suggested that I should make. I really like how it turned out!

Purple !

September 11, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

This week I mostly worked on CLIO and Photo IDs. My theme of purples and creams has been coming together nicely. It really makes me want to make the recipe!

Added a table where there are 3 videos listing other ways to eat Taro besides in a bread.

Next I made an image float in the text and it looks much nicer.

As you see in these pictures, I fixed the card headers to have a nice soft pastel gradient.

CLIO Training

September 4, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

This week I finished work on InDesign Training. It looks pretty nice!

Besides Photo IDs, I finally began CLIO Training. My theme is centered around bread with a focus on making Taro bread. The color scheme revolves around purples and creams. It’s coming together nicely so far!

Color Correction and Update on InDesign Spread

August 27, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

Worked on Basic Training and Photo ID’s this week! Currently waiting on feedback for my InDesign spread. I changed the text to fit two columns and removed the spacing in between. I also adjusted the placement of the images and I think it’s looking pretty good!

Lastly, I worked on Color Correction with Abriella and it was cool to learn about the different ways to edit photos. I may or may not try color-changing my hair to see what I will dye it next haha.

Birds, Logos and The Midnight Gospel

August 24, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

Last week I worked on a couple of Basic Training including working on the Cascade Site, AI Shape Manipulation, InDesign Spread, and AI Logo.

For the AI Logo, I wanted to use the first initials of my first and last name, as well as my middle name. The shape I came up with was a tulip!

Next is my InDesign spread where we used images from the TV Show, “The Midnight Gospel”. I’ve never worked in this program before so this was really fun for me. There are still some changes I need to make so I’ll make sure to post about this again at the end of the week.

For the Cascade Site Training, I had to make an Accordion. I decided to make it about my favorite Filipino dessert/bread: Ensaimada. I also went the extra mile and added a video teaching you how to make them yourself :-).

The last thing I did was the AI Shape Manipulation Training. Finished the edits I got from Thuy so I’m just waiting for feedback!

Circles and Cats

August 13, 2020 By Danielle Daynos

First thing I worked on was the Color Wheel training. We had to redesign the wheel hues, tones, and include an achromatic value key as well (which I made the leaves). I designed mine in the shape of flowers!

The next thing I did was make a custom shape out of AI doing the AI Trace Training. I decided to use Waffle as my model.

The last thing I did was AI Shape manipulation. The first is what was asked of us. The second is my take on the radial design!
